So what exactly are affirmations?
Simply put, affirmations are phrases that you can recite to yourself to fulfill a certain mental goal. Depending on your day, you might have a different goal in mind, like being motivated, relaxing and recentering, concentrating, or changing negative thinking patterns. There are affirmations for almost every category under the sun, but today I wanted to write some affirmations for students.
We’ve all had days where we might have failed a test, had a rough day at school, or done a less than stellar job on a big assignment. In these moments it’s especially important to push through, and one thing that I’ve done lately to destress after a hard day is to practice positive affirmations. Sometimes all we need is a little bit of extra encouragement, and I’ve found that words of affirmation can help to quickly remind you of who you are and what your purpose is, and give you that extra energy boost needed to turn your day around.
Whether you’re in middle school, high school, college, or even graduate school, I hope these affirmations serve as a pick-me-up, and help you have a fulfilling day!
